WEIGHT LOSS testimonial
"Having attended your Weight Loss Clinic at Naas Health & Fitness, I have changed my attitude towards health and exercise, which I had been neglecting for some time. You motivated me, and helped me understand why I needed to make changes. Everyday, I find one small way to change my unhealthy lifestyle i.e. reading labels, eating more vegetables, having a slice of cake instead of 'the cake' and keeping the exercise fast and short.
You took the fear away and introduced positive small steps. There was a great energy in the class and you positively encouraged each participant and that made all the difference. It's true what they say..."healthy bodies make healthy minds" and I would strongly recommend this course. You may not feel great going in , but you'll definitely be pleased coming out!
"ENDORPHINS RULE OK!" - Thank you Imelda!

An explanation of child levels....
Level 1
This class is a basic introduction to Swimming Lessons; it is centred on fun and games while learning the basics. Level 1 takes place in the kiddies’ pool and is for children age 3-5 years.
Level 2
This class is for first time swimmers and works on improving water confidence for children age 5+. Level 2 takes place in the main pool and the kiddies’ pool and armbands are used.
Level 3
This class is for the more confident beginner, armbands are allowed and the focus is on putting the face in the water and using floats as assistance to help build the key skills that children need to swim on their own. (Age 5+).
Level 4
Children participating in Level 4 should be able to swim without armbands. In this class children will work on swimming underwater and gaining skills for improving front crawl and back crawl.
Level 5
This class is for children able to swim ¾‘s the length of the pool. Level 5 focuses on streamlining the body while swimming by using techniques such as push & glide and understanding bi-lateral breathing.
Level 6
Participants of Level 6 must be able to swim a full length without stopping. This class will work on improving stamina in the pool and will introduce butterfly as a new stroke.
Level 7&8
Level 7&8 combine together, to provide a class that is both challenging and interesting for the older swimmer. This class focuses on getting the correct timing in all 4 strokes while learning some simple water safety skills. (Please note that children might not complete both levels in one term).
Pre-Competition - Lane Training
As the name suggests, this class is mainly focused on swimming lengths. Swimmers doing this class must be highly confident in water and have completed level 7&8 in the ‘Child Learn to Swim’ programme. In this class there will be some swimming in clothes to help improve endurance and strength in the water, participants must bring light clothes (eg. pyjamas!) to this class.
(Please note that this class does not focus on stroke analysis, if wishing to work on stroke analysis please register in Level 7&8)
